One Room Challenge Urban Industrial Vintage Laundry Room Week 5

I’m so excited because it’s Week 5 of the One Room Challenge, hosted by Linda of Calling it Home and House Beautiful. We are so close to the reveal of our Urban Industrial Vintage Laundry Room and I’m so happy with the progress we’ve made.  If you need to catch up on Week’s 1-4 click here… Week 1  Week 2  Week3 and Week 4. So the best thing about these challenges is the purging and organizing you do. The rest of my house looks like a tornado went through it but this Laundry Room is looking great! 😉 In fact, I’m writing this blog post in it right now. I love it that much. I really think it may become my new office or She Shed! Talk about multi-tasking! Ok, with that said, you know I won’t show you any BIG pictures, but this week I’m going to share some of the accessories and smaller pieces that are making this such a great space.

I mentioned adding some open shelving and I found the perfect piece…how does that little corner look? Peeks only remember. 😉  I fell in love with these baskets and they make even the most ordinary things look better!

The original name of this room was Urban Industrial Vintage GLAM Laundry Room…but that was a mouthful. Just know I’m definitely adding some Glam in here!

I’ve told you how much I love the new fan in the space…goodness what a difference. I decided to add some music to the room. Now I’ve got my country music playing all the time! Give me a coffee maker and I may never leave! This little guy is awesome because it’s small, cute and packs a punch as far as sound goes. I’m starting to see a pattern with each ORC, we added music to the last one as well. Hmmm…

Of course, what’s a new Laundry Room without new towels, blankets and sheets? I decided to go all white. Easy to match, easy to bleach, and gives a clean fresh look. If I could suggest one simple thing it’s this…get rid of all the old, faded mismatched stuff and treat yourself to some new towels, maybe some new sheets or pillowcases. It will make you feel so good! These are all great quality without breaking the bank. Also, Bed Bath & Beyond coupons are the best and can be used online as well! Sign up to have them emailed and/or texted to you.

You certainly can’t have an Industrial Laundry Room without an Industrial Laundry Hamper? This one was perfect and holds up to 5 loads. I ended up getting a couple and highly recommend them.

This next piece is so incredible …I can’t wait to show you the whole thing. Here’s a hint…it’s from Selections by Chaumont. All I can say is that pictures don’t do it justice but I’ll do my best to show how beautiful this piece is. Look at this detail!
