Interior Moulding, Finishes and Trim Made Easy by Metrie!

Growing up in the South, particularly the great city of New Orleans I developed a love for old homes and their architecture. I toured Anti-Bellum Plantations, admired the old estates and even went to High School in a 100+ year-old Courthouse. Charm was everywhere, but particularly in the architectural details. The doors, the ceilings, the carved trim and woodwork. Now many of us don’t live in a 100+ year old home, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some of that charm.

The first step in solving any problem, is consider all your options and do some research. We can’t all live in a Plantation, and I can only dream of having a bathroom as gorgeous as this!! We can, however, all be inspired to create a better space and a more charming room with a timeless look!!

So don’t be overwhelmed…have fun. Decide what look inspires you and go for it. Start with the trim, finish with a coordinating interior door.  You can do this!
