    Cozy Fall Decor with a Modern Eclectic touch!

    Fall is here! My favorite season because it means cooler temps, cozy decor and the end of hot Summer temps! Which for us Floridians is a big deal! Come see how I’m adding a touch of Fall to our home…with a Modern, Eclectic feel!

    I was very excited to partner with Balsam Hill this year because they have the most beautiful faux florals, wreaths, garlands, and trees! I’ve always admired how real they look. My style is more of a modern, eclectic one. I wanted to incorporate Fall in a way that was cozy but not cluttered…for me.

    I brought the outdoors in…literally with some beautiful trees from Balsam Hill. I told you I have been a long-time admirer of their pieces and their trees are especially gorgeous.

    Keeping my more modern style in mind I added a gorgeous pop of yellow with this Aspen tree. The birch branches and the shades of yellow and gold are so realistic that it feels like I have a real tree on my fireplace.

    It is striking and just the touch of bold decor that I wanted. I added some more birch logs that I painted white and some pears for more Fall touches. Bold and dramatic but still a bit simple…just the way I like it.

    The whites, yellows, and touch of golden brown are just what this space needed. The tree is so beautiful I can see it moving throughout the house during the year.

    Moving into the kitchen and dining space, I kept with the same idea of minimal but dramatic decor. I really have been trying to focus on quality pieces when I design vs quantity! Come see what I did…

    Keeping the whites and woods as my base. I wanted to add a little texture and color. I also brought out the copper because copper always looks good…especially for Fall.

    On the table, I added my white boho runner as the perfect backdrop to this beautiful Briarwood garland full of white berries, small pomegranates, hydrangeas, and pinecones. It has just enough color and texture for my style. It is gorgeous from every angle and is a focal point for sure. They even have a matching wreath and arrangement if you’re wanting more. Again lots of white with subtle pops of color…that’s what I was going for this year.

    I added some black metal and natural wood candle holders for the scandinavian, boho touch I love!

    But I wasn’t done. Remember the trees I mentioned? Well, there was another that stole my heart when I was browsing the Balsam Hill site. The Japanese Maple. It is so striking and it looks so real.

    I’m not a fan of red necessarily. Even though my front door is painted red ;)…I do like a little of it. This red is more of a deep maroon/burgundy…with varying shades. It isn’t fake or cheap looking as some faux trees can be. This is another showstopper and I’m in love with it against the white tile.

    The branches look real, and it’s in the cutest concrete pot. Again, I see this as a piece that will move around the house and be loved for years to come.

    For now, it looks so good in the kitchen, representing Fall. And when I look out at our pine forest it feels like an extension of the woods outside. And no watering required. 😉

    So that is a snapshot of Fall in our home this year. Dramatic, bold, minimal, modern, rustic, eclectic, natural…all of the above and then some.

    We will be lighting candles and adding some blankets as soon as the temps start to drop. Until then I’m going to enjoy this season because it truly is my favorite. I even added a touch of Fall to our front porch.

    I added this gorgeous Magnolia LED light-up tree to our front porch…a nod to our southern home. But honestly, this would be a beautiful addition to anyone’s home.
