Wall Decor and Bedroom Accessories with Joss & Main

Well, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned some changes were coming. Here is part 1 of our Master Bedroom refresh with Joss & Main.

Seems that I’m craving simplicity and clean lines as I get older…or maybe my style is just changing. Either way, change is coming. I partnered with my friends at Joss & Main to add a few new pieces in here from wall decor to accessories.

This is my side of the room and therefore I had full permission to change. 🙂 Here is a “before” shot of the bedroom. With just a few new pieces I feel like the whole mood of the room changed.

The first thing I added was this bamboo mirror. I love the look of this mirror. So chic and timeless. Instead of just hanging it on the wall, I added it to my window. It’s a little trick I’ve done before. It adds another layer to an otherwise overlooked space.

By adding a mirror to any room it bounces light around and creates a more open space.

I swapped out my chair that was in here for this sleek beauty. Love the lines and the black detail with the caning. Just the perfect combo!

I had my eye on this chair but wasn’t sure where I could use it. Found the perfect spot.

Next up were some decor pieces. I grabbed a few pillows to go with the new look. The black and white cowhide are again…chic and classic. They go so well with the chair, the walls and they give the space the modern, funky touch I love!

I added this large woven basket, they call it a floor vase. It is so cool and adds the perfect touch of organic texture to the space.

By mixing textures and styles, you create a story. All of these pieces on their own are beautiful…but by putting them together they create the clean, calm, eclectic, industrial look I love!!! Yes, you can have industrial and calm in the same setting. 😉 I always tell my clients to get what you love, get what speaks to you. You can always find a way to make them work. Always. You might need to find a color to tie them together, a pattern, a material…but it’s always more fun to have texture and variety. It creates a curated look.
